CANSKATE/POWERSKATE FALL REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE NEXT WEEK

Our CanSkate/PowerSkate programs are reaching or have reached capacity and registration will close down next week. If you have a friend or neighbour that expressed interest, please remind them to register asap.

Winter CanSkate/PowerSkate is already open. Historically this fills up very quickly, some classes can be full by early November. Don't be disappointed, register now! If your skater will qualify for CanSkate from Pre-CanSkate after the fall session is over (ie, they passed all levels of Stage 1 in their December report card), we will change them from Pre-CanSkate to CanSkate in our registration system. But they MUST already be registered for Winter Pre-CanSkate. Please don't let that hold you back from registering now.

K.I.S. IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION (STARSKATE COMPETITION ANNOUNCMENT)

Registration is now open for KIS (Keswick Invitational Skate). Please confirm with your coach which events you will be entering and at what level. This is the first of many competitions that STARSkaters can register for; coming soon will be Snowflake Skate, STARSkate Championships, March Mania, Thornhill FUN Skate and Scarboro's Ursula Lehming Skate.

Competitions are not mandatory, but they can be a fun and challenging event for your skater. If you have any questions please speak with your coach as soon as possible, as the deadline for registering is Oct 26 @ 4pm. They can advise you on what to expect the day of, skating attire, when to arrive prior to their event (typically 1 hour before), how skaters are marked or judged, and much more.

CLUB CLOSURE SAT OCT 8 & MON OCT 10

All sessions are cancelled on Sat Oct 8 and Mon Oct 10 for the Thanksgiving long weekend. Happy Gobble Gobble!
