West Toronto Skating Club Annual General Meeting

Notice is given of the WTSC AGM at the above time and place.

Purpose of the AGM:

The Board and Program Director will present highlights from the 2023-2024 season
The Treasurer will present the annual financial report
Election of new board members
To approve changes to the Club’s constating documents as a result of requirements of the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act:
To pass the following special resolution of members: “That the members resolve that the Articles of the Club be amended in the form enclosed with the Notice of Annual General Meeting; and
To confirm the Board’s adoption of amendments to the Club By-Laws, with such new By-laws (as amended) to become effective on the issuance of a certificate of amendment to the Club’s Articles

To appoint auditors and to authorize the Board to fix their remuneration

The form of amendments to the Articles and the By-laws form part of this notice and are posted on the Club’s website.

Nominations for the Board must be submitted by noon on November 11, 2024. Nomination instructions may be obtained by email to the Nominations Chair, Jennifer Nelson at jjnel4@gmail.com.
