GARY BEACOM ON ICE SEMINAR FOR STARSKATE 1, 2 AND 3 SKATERS

Hi STARSkate Families,

We are pleased to offer an on-ice session with Gary Beacom next Saturday Feb 28 from 6:45-7:45pm. As a Canadian silver medalist, Olympic and Worlds team member, Gary brings flair and excitement to his skating skills that defy the laws of gravity.

We strongly encourage all our STARSkate 1, 2 and 3 skaters to attend, as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The fee is $20 per skater payable via cash/cheque in the office. All skaters that are registered on the usual SS2/3 session will receive an ice credit, which can be used on any other SS 2 or SS3 session. Registration deadline is Thurs Feb. 26.

FAMILY DAY SESSIONS CANCELLED ON MON FEB 16

All sessions are cancelled on Mon February 16 due to Family Day. Sessions will run as scheduled on Sat. February 14.

SCARBORO SKATE COMPETITION

The announcement for the Ursula Lehming Scaroboro Skate is up. This event is held on April 24-26. The registration deadline is March 19 (early bird registration is February 25) Details are available on the COS website and all registration is done online by the parents. Please speak with your coach prior to registering to ensure you are entering in the correct event.

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT FOR TUES FEB 10 - TEST DAY

Please note that all sessions are cancelled this Tues Feb 10 due to Test Day.

There will be an open ice session from 5-5:50 (no group lessons). Skaters that are registered for any Tuesday sessions may attend for free. Other skaters may attend as well, a guest fee of $15 is payable to the office prior to stepping on the ice.
