We need your Help! 

Learn to Skate Program Assistant Training Saturday September 20 @ 1:10pm On-Ice! 

Ages 10 and up, STAR  & SR STAR  skaters are welcome to become Program Assistants for our Learn to Skate sessions

Teen & Adult STAR & SR STAR Level skaters are also welcome to join in and become a PA!

Current PA's are strongly encouraged to attend the Saturday September 20th 1:10pm session for training

What is the role of a PA?

A PA’s role may include:
• Assisting with the set-up of circuits and stations
• Leading circuits and rotations
• Demonstrating proper execution of skating skills
• Aiding skaters who may have additional needs
• Taking attendance
• Timing speed skills
• Providing general assistance to the coaches on the session
• Providing encouragement and general feedback to skaters
• Assisting or leading warm-ups, group activities or cool-downs 

Benefits? 

YES!  Receive $5 of account credits per hour of program assisting. PA's must track and submit their hours monthly in order to receive credits. High school students also receive volunteer hour validation.
